Package/service/configuration files for Apache OwnCloud configuration files and directories It preconfigures the ownCloud instance using the automatic configuration method. This module provides a simple way to install ownCloud, and optionally include Apache and virtual host configuration, database creation, and an autoconfigured ownCloud instance ready for you to log into. OwnCloud is a software system for what is commonly termed "file hosting" and is very similar to the widely-used Dropbox, with the primary difference being that ownCloud is free and open-source, allowing anyone to install and operate it without charge on a private server. The ownCloud module eases installation and initial configuration of ownCloud. I might have structured my post a bit confusing, as the NGINX config posted is the section of the reverse-proxy config for owncloud. I feel like there has to be some config that can be done in the nfig on the reverse-proxy server to more directly send/proxy requests and info to the owncloud server. I did pull different parts from the documentation and add to my NGINX config on the owncloud server, (and guessing it all works) there is no difference, as owncloud refuses to let me access it as it still throws the un-trusted domain error. Hmm right, because this assumes that you're running owncloud on an NGINX webserver alone with no proxy. Im probably missing something in the config/config.php or i need to add something to the NGINX config file. Is there any vital part of the setup that i've missed?Īll tips and feedback helps! Or direct me to a thread/forum where this was the -exact- case. Without spamming more configs out on the post, what is usually the issue in these situations? Something has to be causing the owncloud server to not recognize the domain it is beig accessed on as a trusted domain. Proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for įastcgi_param REQUEST_METHOD $request_method įastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name įastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $request_filename įastcgi_pass .x #[Or 127.0.0.1:9000 Proxy_set_header X-Readl_IP $remote_addr Proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $remote_addr Maybe someone can elaborate what this error exactly is saying and what could be causing it? Įrror.log shows: "thrown in /var/server:, request: "GET / HTTP/1.0", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/p/run/php/:", host: "" I also tried adding these lines and customized them to fit my use case from:Īccess.log shows access from the IPV4 adress of my proxy server. ![]() To try and solve this issue i have tried the solutions for normal reverseproxy-less operation and added my domain to the trusted domains list via the "trusted_domains" in the /config/config.php. Now my issue is that after installing and setting up the Owncloud server, i am getting the "You are accessing the server from an untrusted domain" error. ![]() This server sorts and routes queries and requests to their respective servers. This machine along with all other services run under the network all go through an NGINX ReverseProxy. The Owncloud-server is run on a VM under Proxmox. I have this issue where i am trying to set up my own cloud storage server.
